The 32X is the second hardware add-on for the Genesis. It was initially designed as a cheaper alternative to the Saturn, but saw little success and was discontinued barely a year after launch.

Present at 0x47E in the master SH-2 BIOS is some development text. "Mars" is the development codename of the 32X hardware.
