Basket Master is a rather poor conversion of the ZX Spectrum original. In Spain, the game was released as a tie-in with Spanish basketball player Fernando Martín.

Leftover Data

On the seventh Freeload data segment are leftover graphics and text data from Platoon. Line breaks were added for readability.

Regional Differences

The Spanish release has a different loading screen, without the game's title, as well as no signature from designer Simon Butler.

Furthermore, the default name for the computer opponent in the Spanish release is "F.Martin", to fit with the tie-in, whereas it is just "CPU" in the British version.
