Best Of Best is a strange fighting game full of character stereotypes, hilarious animations and sound effects, moves ripped from famous SNK and Capcom fighting games, memetic Engrish, and a 16-bit rendition of Lambada.

Not only is it SunA's first 16-bit game, but also the first Korean fighting game!

THE BATTLE IS NOT ALWAYS TO THE STRONG

Hmmm...
To do:
Find something else?

Unused Music

While these two songs are not completely unused, they can't be heard completely in-game.

The winner/loser theme lasts 7 seconds, and it has an end, but in the game you can only hear the first 3 seconds.

The ending theme lasts 51 seconds and then loops, but in the game you can only hear 35 seconds of this theme, as you're taken to the name entry screen shortly after.

Oddities

In some aspects, this game tends to prioritize player 2 over player 1.

  • When you win a match, you'll be able to change character. An unusual behavior, since this should only be possible when continuing the game after losing a match. This also means that the stage will be always determined by which character player 2 will choose from.
Here's when 2P does a special move Here's when 1P does the same

  • Certain characters like Shalin, Abdul, Sasaki, and Alli, when performing one of their special moves, can also mimic the color of their opponent character if they're played on the 2P side. But when played on the 1P side, they just use their color.

  • Scott's losing pose is nothing more than the second frame of his winning animation.
