Double Beginner Oversight on Courses
Unlike every other menu in the game, the one for courses in Advanced Mode was not accomodated for Double Play; the difficulties that are displayed are always the Single Play difficulties, any courses that have Beginner charts on them will play Double Beginner charts (which are otherwise unselectable), and, considering there are customizable course slots, this can be done with every song.
Furthermore, each of the songs do have Double Beginner chart slots in the data, though, they're, for the most part, heavily trimmed down versions of their Double Basic charts, with notes usually happening every 2 beats, simplified jumps, and Freeze Arrows removed, similar to the process done to create the Single Beginner charts for most of the new songs in Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA. However, there are some exceptions, either being a variation of this process or something else entirely:
- We're All In This Together has a proper Double Beginner chart, being the only license in the game to have one.
- Suite Life Theme Song 's Double Beginner chart is similar to other songs', but notes happen every four beats instead of two.
- P.N. MAX 's Double Beginner chart is similar to other songs', but notes tend to happen every three beats instead of two.
- Bongo! 's Double Beginner chart is taken from its appearance in Dance Dance Revolution Universe.
- Sockem 's Double Beginner chart is taken from its appearance in Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 4.
- Dança de Yuca 's Double Beginner chart is taken from its appearance in Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3.
- Moment 40 's Double Beginner chart is taken from its appearance in Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3.
- Sakura 's Double Beginner chart is similar to other songs', but the frequency of the notes changes according to the song's BPM:
- BPM -90: every beat (only seen on last measure)
- BPM 90-150: every two beats
- BPM 150+ every four beats
- Candy 's Double Beginner chart is similar to other songs', but notes tend to happen every three beats instead of two.
- Rock-a-billy Willy 's Double Beginner chart is taken from its appearance in Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 3.
