Corpse Party: BloodCovered...Repeated Fear, released internationally as simply Corpse Party, is a 2010 survival horror JRPG in the Corpse Party series, likely being the most well-known version of the game due to having been played by numerous very popular let's players on YouTube upon release. It follows a group of students and their teacher's aide as they perform a mystical charm known as Sachiko Ever After, meant to bind them all as friends forever. However, after performing the charm incorrectly, a large earthquake occurs that transports them all to Heavenly Host Elementary School - a nexus of multiple dimensions that's filled with vengeful spirits, and is nearly impossible to escape from.

It is mostly a remake of Corpse Party: BloodCovered and its Japanese-only mobile counterpart Corpse Party: NewChapter, which both released each chapter episodically and are themselves remakes of the original CORPSE-PARTY released in 1996 for the PC-98. While mainly a graphical and audio enhancement, featuring all-new CGs, character portraits, tilesets, music, and completely new voice acting done with a professional cast rather than Team GrisGris' in-house team, it also features numerous changes to the story shown in BloodCovered and NewChapter. This version of the game also drops the episodic format, including remakes of all previously released chapters in addition to a new Chapter 5 which concludes the story. Interestingly, in 2011 (a year after this game released), BloodCovered would receive its own version of Chapter 5, playing out very similarly to the version shown in this game, but with the old graphics and voice cast. NewChapter, on the other hand, was completely dropped and left unfinished, stopping at Chapter 4.

This version of the game is also somewhat notorious for being the first in the Corpse Party series to include numerous upskirts in its CGs (which would only become more prevalent in subsequent games), and in general ups the number of fanservice moments compared to its predecessors.

Unused CGs

Corpse Party - Unused CG 1.png
An unused CG of the group before performing the Sachiko Ever After charm.

Corpse Party - Unused CG ver1.png Corpse Party - Unused CG ver2.png Corpse Party - Unused CG ver3.png
Unused CGs featuring Yoshie Shinozaki with Sachiko Shinozaki, Yuki Kanno, and Naomi Nakashima respectively. It's likely the first and second CGs would have been used to show Yuki taking on the role of the "New Sachiko" following Sachiko's appeasement at the end of the game. The usage of the CG depicting Naomi is unknown.

Unused CGs depicting the outside, presumably for a flashback or some kind of montage.

God, I'm uncomfortable...
The image of the sky actually has a faint face which becomes more clear after changing the brightness and contrast. Creepily enough, the face has zero resemblance to any character at all, but rather being the face of an unknown person...or not.

Unused Items

Morishige's Cell Phone

Unused Used
Corpse Party - Morishige Phone (Unused).png Corpse Party - Morishige Phone (Final).png

A graphic of Morishige's Cell Phone without any blood splatter on it exists within the game's data. Since the player doesn't acquire his phone before his death, the clean version of the icon goes unused. This was presumably intended to be used in EXCHAP 2, a short extra chapter where the player controls Morishige. In it, Morishige drops his cell phone, only for Kizami to pick it up first. Morishige ultimately takes his phone back, but no item collection jingle is shown. Since the player is also unable to open their inventory in this chapter, there's no place for the graphic to be used. Interestingly, in BloodCovered's version of this same chapter, the player is able to open their inventory, which does contain "Morishige's Cell Phone" as an item, but that version of the game completely lacks item graphics.

Yoshie's Diary

Corpse Party - Yoshie Diary.png
A graphic for Yoshie's Diary. Though the player does acquire the diary in-game, it's never added to their inventory, so the icon for it is never shown.

Unused Sprites

Corpse Party - Kokuhaku Sprites.png
A set of sprites titled 42_girl_other_gim_00000000 in the game's data. The stationary back sprite is used to depict Kokuhaku Akaboji in Chapter 3, but because she never turns around or moves, the rest of the sprite set goes completely unused.

Corpse Party - Kazane Sprites.png
Another sprite set titled 98_extrachr04_kazane_gim_00000000 in the game's data. Very similar to the sprites above, with very minor palette changes and small details added. These sprites are never used in-game, but the name suggests they were intended to be Rio Kazane of Musashigawa Girl's High School. This is further supported by the sprites for the other characters from Musashigawa Girl's School (Nana Ogasawara, Nari Amatoya, and Chihaya Yamase) being named extrachr01, extrachr02, and extrachr03 respectively.

Corpse Party - Kokuhaku Death.png
An unused corpse sprite from the sprite sheet titled 33_hone_a_gim_00000000 in the game's data. From their visual similarities, this sprite likely depicts an alternate death for Kokuhaku. In the final release, Kokuhaku's death is not shown, and only her nametag is found.

Unused Dialogue

Hmmm...
To do:
Locate and upload voiced dialogue. Determine if this text was localized in the NA/EU releases.

There is an unused interaction between Yoshiki Kishinuma and Naho Saenoki intended to appear in Chapter 5:

Character Dialogue
Yoshiki Hey. It's you.
Naho Hello...friend of Ayumi Shinozaki.
Yoshiki The name's Kishinuma.
Naho Pardon my rudeness. How may I help you, Kishinuma?
Yoshiki I just...wanted to see if there's anything I can do.
Naho Hmm?
Yoshiki Shinozaki's...been killed by some kind of monster.

And I ran. I just...ran...and left her to die.

Naho That's quite a situation.
Yoshiki So, can you tell me...what I should do about it?

I...don't know anymore. I don't know anything anymore!

Goddammit...

Naho ...
Yoshiki I've always just run away.

Hell, I was even willing to get expelled from school so I didn't have to deal with a difficult situation!

When the going gets tough...it becomes too much of a hassle for me, and I just throw everything away.

Shinozaki is the one and only person who ever got me to straighten up and fly right.

And I told myself I wouldn't run anymore...

Naho (Seems his thoughts have become muddled.)

I'm sorry for your loss. You don't need to blame yourself for what happened, though.

Running away from a monster is a natural reaction.

It wasn't wrong of you to do so.

Yoshiki Gck...chh...

...

...No. It was my fault.

I'm going to go think about what I can do to set things right.

Sorry...to have bothered you.

Naho ...

Interestingly, this dialogue refers to a Wrong End that was cut from the PSP release, only being present in the PC version (titled "Wrong End 7 ★9"). Despite being cut, this dialogue is not only present in the PSP release, but allegedly had voice acting done by the cast as well.
