Seed-Sowing Bird is a puzzle game where the player manipulates a system of gutters to guide trickling water drops to help seeds at the bottom of the screen grow into flowers.

The game was an early example of an officially-published homebrew, having been created as part of the short-lived Japanese reality TV show D's Garage 21. Unlike the games published as part of the WonderWitch development kit contests, it was coded from scratch on a PC using assembly language.

Defunct Online Content

Holding X1 + Y3 while powering up the console will bring up a hidden WonderGate interface. After accessing the menu once, it will become permanently available. The SwanWeb online service maintained online leaderboards for the "zutto" (survival) and "ohanashi" (single-player story) modes, and players could upload or download new high scores.

As with other SwanWeb services, the leaderboards were disabled when the service ended in 2003.
