Hmmm...
To do:
There's LOTS to go through for this game!
  • Move the Chinatown audio from the main page onto here. There's also more source audio to add for this page as well. Create a subpage for this.
  • Describe how the story and gameplay changed over the course of the three script drafts in the source files dated from November 2004 to February 2005 whilst also mentioning what was cut out and changed before and within the final game itself.
  • Add the grenade, sticky bombs and molotov assets and description information.
  • Add the various scrapped animation breakdown notes.
  • Add the early character concept art and cut character concept art. There's A LOT. Create a subpage for this.
  • Add the outsourced and evolving HUD mockups.
  • Add the in house models.
  • Upload the original control scheme images.
  • Upload every game flow breakdown image.
  • Add early design and scrapped item images.
  • Upload all the mission flow breakdown, subway flow breakdown and replay value images.
  • Upload the "Intranet" in house archive material. There's TONS of this. Create a subpage for this.

Many never before seen development assets have been obtained from reaching out to former Genuine Games developers over the years. In 2022, a YouTuber was given the original source files by an anonymous source. Originally, this was going to be a much bigger game and have a lot more content but was all condensed down and cut out due to budget and time constraints. It was in development for around 12 to 14 months. It was rushed to tie in with the Get Rich or Die Trying movie.

Ladder Climbout Animation

This is an animation of 50 Cent climbing up a ladder to get onto a rooftop. According to the source files, this was for the original version of Mission 1 before it was completely reworked.
