E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial: Interplanetary Mission is a puzzle game released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the movie release. It's certainly a better attempt than the other game based on the movie.

Hidden Credits

Start a new game and play through the first level as normal. As soon as the second level loads, exit the level by pressing Start and choosing Exit. Once on the main menu, go to Options and press R2, R1, L2, L1. If done correctly, a new Credits option will show up.

Choosing the option will scroll through some developer credits, with a rather... colorful message at the end.

FUCK OFF BIN LADEN

According to graphics programmer Diego Link, the profane message to al-Qaeda founder Osama bin Laden at the end was the staff's way of venting their frustrations once their unspecified higher-ups vetoed the inclusion of a conventional credits sequence. Link described the text as a relic of America's social atmosphere immediately after 9/11.
