This version of Faceball 2000 is similar to the one on the Game Boy that came before it, but has new graphics, more Smiloid designs, a new singleplayer campaign called Cyberzone, a limit of two players, and a rather sloppy soundtrack.

Cyberscape Mode
While the SNES version comes with Cyberzone unlocked by default, it also contains an enhanced port of Cyberscape (the single-player mode in the Game Boy and Game Gear versions) hidden behind an unlock code. To unlock it, hold L + R at the while selecting the number of players on the title screen, then release the buttons after the screen fades to black. The option to play Cyberscape mode now appears below Cyberzone in the "Inter-face" menu.
Hidden Menu
This debug menu allows you to configure the player(s)' starting stats (armor, shots, speed, lives, and reloads) and skip to any level to start playing on. To activate the menu:
- Cyberzone: Hold L + R while selecting any option in the Difficulty menu, then release the buttons.
- Cyberscape: Hold L + R while selecting the Cyberscape option in the Inter-face menu, then release the buttons. (See "Cyberscape Mode" section above.)
