This page contains no introduction. What makes this game notable or what is it about? Are you a bad enough dude to save this article?
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?
This page or section needs more images. There's a whole lotta words here, but not enough pictures. Please fix this. Specifically: Need more pics of the intro and screenshots of the ending, as well as of the special bonus stage.

Developer Message
Please elaborate. Having more detail is always a good thing. Specifically: What specific sector is this in?
At the first sector for every disk, a small message can be seen.

Debug Menu
This needs some investigation. Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page. Specifically: What does the Debug Menu do?
While playing, press Shift to open the game menu. Choose the third option (System), and then highlight the BGM option.
Now, hold C and wait for the text screen to appear completely; once it appears and while still holding C, press Up, Up, Down, Down, Right, Left, Right, Left, X. If done right, the debug menu will appear.
Version Differences
To do: More version differences
Fray was released in two separate versions for the MSX2 and the MSX Turbo R, and there are some differences between the two besides game speed.
Copyright Screen
Right away the colors used for the copyright screen on both versions are different.

Intro Demo
The Microcabin intro at the beginning is completely absent from the turbo-R version.
Voice Samples
The turbo-R version utilizes the PCM function of the system to play back voice samples during specific cutscenes. Unfortunately, after playing each sound clip, the music for each scene restarts instead of resuming from where it left off!
Bonus GOGO Pixie Stage
There is a special bonus stage available in the MSX2 version, accessible from Disk 3 (Disk 2 in the turbo-R version) by holding down G + O on the keyboard while booting up.
Bonus Pictures
The Xak games usually have an extra omake section that is shown after beating the game. However, with the MSX2 version of Fray, instead of having to wait after the ending, the omake section can be viewed immediately by holding M while booting from Disk 1.
Note that this will only work in the MSX2 version, and not the turbo-R version.
