The Mega Drive Jelly Boy, like its releases on other systems, is an odd but fun platformer. Unlike those other versions, this one was axed for unknown reasons.

Similar to the SNES prototypes, it has a faulty header, so most emulators incorrectly recognise it as an NTSC game instead of PAL and play it too fast.

Hidden Developer Image

Enter MR-F-- ----- ------ ------ as a password, then start the game. Jelly Boy's head will be changed to that of Probe founder/CEO Fergus McGovern's.

Unused Song

ID '01 in the GEMS sequence data the title screen in the SNES and Game Boy versions. The Genesis version uses the high score track.

Partially-Unused Music

As in the SNES version, the song for the sequence on the roof is much longer than the sequence itself. Only the first 30 seconds are used.
