JINSEI Back Up
Anti-Piracy
Like many games published by Taito, this game includes an SRAM integrity check: After the Taito logo, the game checks to see that it has exactly 8KB of SRAM by writing the developer string mentioned above at $306000 and then comparing with the value at $316000 to ensure the SRAM mirror is in the correct location. If this check fails, the game restarts and thus endlessly loops on the Taito logo. Cartridge copiers typically contain more than 8KB of SRAM in order to support a wide variety of games, thus tripping the anti-piracy measure.
Game Genie code 991D-DADD will activate the anti-piracy measure.
