Lock 'N' Chase is another Pac-Man-type game that allows players to manipulate the maze area (see also Lady Bug and Mouse Trap), this time through the use of closeable doorways.
Pay no attention to the name of the red cop.
Unused Graphics
Graphics for Lupin running away with Stiffy's pants. These were probably meant for a Pac-Man-style cutscene.

Bugs
The player can close gates near them (randomly) by pressing action button. One gate in particular doesn't close: it's the vertical gate located left to the bottom exit. When this gate is picked by the game, the gate closing sound plays, the gate slot is taken, but the gate doesn't appear and has no effect.
The bug exists at least on the non-cassette version (lnc gamename in MAME).
The reason of the bug is that the gate screen address table is corrupt. At offset $C8AC-C8AD there should be $79 $7E when there's actually a ROM address. So the game writes the gate tiles in ROM (which has no effect).
Version Differences
There are a few (mostly minor) differences between Data East's DECO Cassette game and Taito's more traditional arcade cabinet.
- The cassette version has a default high score of $500. The cabinet version has no default high score.
- The cabinet version adds three test mode dip switch options that weren't present on the cassette.
- There's an added dip switch option in the cabinet version that doubles the walking speed of both Lupin and the cops.

The audio engine was downgraded slightly in Taito's release. This is most noticeable with the music.
