Hmmm...
To do:
Document European prototype.

Mia Hamm Soccer 64 is an American sportsperson-sponsored soccer game localized from an English sportsperson-sponsored soccer game (which was also localized into two different European sports-channel-sponsored soccer games.)

Development Text

Present at 0x2D9806 in the ROM is a directory where the sound samples were compiled from. It looks like someone on the dev team wasn't very fond of the Nintendo 64.

Cut Off Credits

After beating the game, the credits are shown in a small screen at the bottom of the screen. However, the text was never scaled to fit the small box, which causes it to get cut off.

Originally released as Michael Owen's WLS 2000, the game received localizations sponsored by the German RTL and French Téléfoot sports channels from within Europe, and was later refashioned as Mia Hamm Soccer 64 in the United States. Only the European and German versions keep the WLS / World League Soccer branding.
