Fire Islands
Before the Magical Islands and class were created, the four islands were originally made as additional fire islands following Fire Haven and Fire Oasis featuring the rest of the fire quads released at the time, those being Edamimi, Krillby, Flum Ox and Yelmut. This idea was scrapped in favor of making a new class of monsters, the Magicals, and the songs were all repurposed for those monsters, with many of them taking the place of existing sounds. The full versions of these early drafts were released by the Monster-Handlers on September 13, 2025.
Meet the Monsters Early Monster Bios
On the website mysingingmonsters.com (which is now defunt and redirects to bigbluebubble.com) there was a page called "Meet the Monsters" which contained a gallery of monster bios and designs in one image. Some of these images have early versions of the monster bios.
Early Mammott Bio
In the Mammott image, the bio starts off with "A Mammott's" instead of "Mammotts'".
Early Furcorn Bio and Element
The Furcorn image uses plural words in the bio, and uses the word "and" before "delicate" instead of a comma. The image also shows it having only the Plant element. According to Dave Kerr, Furcorn has always had the elements of Plant and Cold, so this is most likely an oversight.
Early Maw Bio
The Maw image is missing "Maws are a little mouthy. Tonguey too."
Early T-Rox Bio
For T-Rox, the word "spikelets" was originally "spines".
Golden Eggs
A currency that was originally present instead of Relics, and used for buying werdos. They were talked about in the 15th episode of My Singing Monsters Live on Twitch, during which BBB put a link in the chat to the below image (itself originally in the Official Guide files).
The main reason BBB decided to replace them with Relics was to avoid players wondering why the eggs don't hatch.
Scrapped Inactive Wublin Island Wubbox
The My Singing Monsters Twitter account posted a tweet showing an early version of the inactive Wublin Island Wubbox, which was originally a statue instead of just being the normal box.
Early Bona-Petite Sound
Before Bona-Petite was released, a teaser for it was posted on the MSM social media accounts, showing a silhouette of the monster and its sound. The sound, however, is an early version of its sound, which doesn't have any effects unlike the final sound.
