Main Menu

The Start screen uses a unique design not seen before, which also happens to be a 3D model of the logo projected via a UI Camera.[1], and the menu uses the same background as the Alpha and E3 2004 builds.

The text "BETA BUILD UPDATE 3 NOT LOGGED IN" is displayed at all times in this build, with the date mimicking the time that the console's clock is set to.

'Saved Films' is an option on the menu, but selecting it does nothing. This feature would not be seen again until Halo 3's Theater mode.

HUD

The HUD is close to final, with the largest difference being the vertical shield meter above the motion tracker.

Nightvision

Launching a map in solo or campaign mode will enable the flashlight, which is a Nightvision effect in this build.
