Some object models present aren't used in the demo.
Note: None of the tree objects are used in the demo, since they're baked into the track models.
CmnTree1
Sakura tree object. In the final, it was moved over to CmnTree4, and CmnTree1 is instead a regular tree. The only difference is the bottom of the tree stump being brighter.

itemBox
The itembox model isn't ever seen in the demo, making this one unused. This one looks very similar to Mario Kart DS's Fake Item Box. It doesn't have a ? inside the box yet either. It only has a single animation for rotating. The final item box doesn't use any animations, while it's just hardcoded to rotate on it's own.

ObjFlow
Objflow contains all the info on the game's objects, which acts as a database file to load the objects themselves and give them unique IDs. However, this file also has some unused objects not present in the demo. Some are also Mario Kart Wii leftovers.
- airblock - Mario Kart Wii leftover.
- dummy - Dummy object, but is also a Mario Kart Wii leftover.
- dokan_sfc - Mario Kart Wii leftover, but was eventually changed to CmnDokan1 and CmnDokan2.
- castletree1 - Mario Kart Wii leftover.
- CmnWeed1 - Unknown weed object 1.
- CmnWeed2 - Unknown weed object 2.
- CmnFlower1 - Unknown flower object 1.
- CmnFlower2 - Unknown flower object 2.
- CmnCloud1 - Unknown cloud object, though this could of been reworked into RcCloud1.
- kinoko - Mario Kart Wii's version of CmnKinoko1.
- DonkyCannonGC - Mario Kart Wii leftover.
Collision Test Models
The following test models are leftovers from the E3 2010 version of Nintendogs + Cats.
Podiums
Two podiums, with the first one being very simple, and the second one with more geometry and deformed.
Room
A big “room” that is simply a giant cube. The floor uses a different collision (COL_0) than the wall (COL_C).
Sofa
A comfortable sofa with footstool.
