Hidden Multiplayer Mode

To enable Two-Player link cable multiplayer, hold Select and enter Up, Down, Left, Right, Down, Up at the main menu. Two copies of the game and a link cable are required. Note that there are minor graphical and audio glitches. Rampage World Tour's Game Boy Color sequel, Rampage 2: Universal Tour, went on to prominently feature 2-player gameplay, so World Tour's 2-player was likely a test for the sequel.

Unused Text

At 0x3C62E and 0x3C8D7 there is text presumably intended to be used in the stage select mode, which wasn't implemented. There is no code for this option at all, only text left.

At 0x4917C there is leftover text and some code around to display stage complete results, however, the released version uses another screen style with just numbers and pictograms for statistic display.

At 0x49300 finally, a complete screen with an initial state of a planned cheat menu which is never implemented or completely removed from the release version, only text and displayed code is left.
