Spark the Electric Jester/Unused Dialogue

This is a sub-page of Spark the Electric Jester.

Hmmm...
To do:
  • Might be hard since clickteam corrupts some frames of the decompiled game but, look for more unused text.

General

FM Canyon doesn't contain any cutscenes so the cutscene system in this stage only contains test strings such as these:

"Text Testing (~) This marks a like break"
"You are able to read this? Seriously?"

Found in the section of Cutscene_Engine 1.1a in most of the game's stages lie these strings:

"Horray, hidden text!!!"
"Anyway, are you looking for any kind of leak? Anything new this demo might be hiding?
Sorry dude, but I really don't have any thing worthwhile to leak.
Hopefully, you enjoyed finding this, thank you for playing my game."

Network Coast's Cutscene 1 event contains a copy of the cutscene in which Spark and Fark first interact, this resulted in the dialogue it contains becoming unused as of version 1.5 due to the game's story being partially rewritten.

"You!!! You are the one who took my job!
And not very surprisingly, you were terrible at it!
How dare you, I have a degree in this! There's no way I'm bad at it!
Oh really? Then I guess I will continue to ''entertain'' the people of this city.
Since, you know, you are not very good at it.
Ahahahahahahaaa..."

Network Harbor's Cutscene 1 event contains leftover dialogue from the Pirate Cutscene that was present in the January 2016 demo.

"It's you again!
My Name is Capitan Andresson. Eyepea Andresson.
You spared me on our last fight.
I'm forever in your debt.
Please forgive my followers for attacking you.
Oh, don't worry, it's no big deal.
Hey, if you guys are ok, then why are most robots on a rampage?
You see, we are disconected fron the Holographic Computer.
I was unaware every other A.i was going rouge.
To tell you the truth, we tought you were after our goods.
Since regular shipping has stopped we have nothing to... Borrow.
That's... Interesting
Anyway, have you seem a Electric Jester A.i get trough the coast?
I belive so, but he was too fast for us to even get a good look at him
Our radars show him heading to the direction of Smog City.
This Tube leads into the underground sewers. Good Luck."

Leftover Sonic Chrono Adventure Text

Since Spark is built on top of Sonic Chrono Adventure, a number of leftover lines of dialogue from the later were left behind.

The Active ChronoTXT contains the following string:

"whe"

Active S-ChestVal sets the alternable strings 1 through 10 of Active World_CutMad to these rather silly lines of test dialogue:

 "BUGZ: OH HI
BUGZ: OH HIZZZZZ
BUGZ: OH HIZZZZZAAAAA
BUGZ: OH HIZZZAAA
BUGZ: OH HIZZAAA
BUGZ: OH HIZA
BUGZ: OH HIZSSSS
BUGZ: OH HIAA
BUGZ: OH HAAA
BUGZ: OH HA"

Contained in Active World_CutMad is a large chunk of dialogue by Rodolia, the navigator from Sonic Chrono Adventure:

"Rodolia: Just keep moving around. And look at all that snow, and that floating island.
Rodolia: A trip to west city is actually quite big for a bug like me. And my life isn't... Nevermind.
Rodolia: Eggman, what kind name is that!?
Rodolia: Did you check the screen in Eggman's roon?
Rodolia: The past is wierd. Anyway, i think we should go back to that Power Plant.
Rodolia: They had robots in the Sky Empire?.
Rodolia: Wierd, that Gerem is nowhere to be found. Anyway, let's go to that island!
Rodolia: That's a wierd guy.
Rodolia: Umm... This place...
Rodolia: That was wierd.
Rodolia: I think he meant the Station that is on the top of your map.
Rodolia: Umm...
Rodolia: We should go to the Sky Empire in the past. It's in the far south of the map.
Rodolia: Humm... We have to find a way in, i'm sure there is one.
Rodolia: Hey, isn't that robot the one that attacked that power plant?.
Rodolia: This city is huge!.
Rodolia: Sonic.
Rodolia: Chrono.
Rodolia: Adventure.
Rodolia: That was really wierd.
...
Rodolia: Seems like the Sky Empire works with some kind of magnetic thingy.
Rodolia: There seems to be some activity on the Sky Empire in the present.
Rodolia: Those badniks were going to the Old Castle... There seems to be something there.
Rodolia: ... huh...?
Rodolia: Let's... Move... ... ...
Rodolia: I wonder where Gerem is. Maybe at the top of the map in the past?
Rodolia: Something might be wrong with the SKy Empire in the past. But you should also try exploring the top of the map in the present.
Rodolia: The Accident? Is this really happening?
Rodolia: ...!
Rodolia: We need to deactivate all cores around the Sky Empire.
Rodolia: We're done...
Rodolia: This is it. Make sure you're ready."
