The SNES version of Spot Goes to Hollywood was never released despite being finished, since Virgin did not believe they could sell enough copies on the console. Notably, it features concepts and enemies that would later appear in the PlayStation and Saturn versions of the game.

Two builds are known to exist, dated March 7 and August 5, 1995. This page covers the later one.

Pause the game and press Down to forward the level. Continue pressing it until the next level appears, or press Up to go back. It's somewhat glitchy, and Spot will get stuck if the game is unpaused halfway through the level.
