PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE CHECKING MY TALK PAGE | An explanation on why some edits I made on this site in the past were sometimes very low-quality and unnecessary!
When I first made my TCRF account in mid-2020, I was only 14 years old at the time (and thus was also still in school too, I'm now a lot older) and even though I did actually read some of the guidelines, I was basically rushing to read most of it (basically skim-reading), plus didn't remember most of them (because my memory is like a broken data disc sometimes) and not just that, but I also wanted some title screen screenshots (like Zelda: Ocarina Of Time) to have a quote on quote better sight and setting and match the Virtual Console version thumbnails too and I didn't care about the quality of the screenshots until I fully read the image guidelines (and even today now) is when I finally care about the highest quality possible on a game or system. Before I fully read the image rules though, some screenshots (such as PlayStation 2 title screens) I had to do in Snipping Tool because I could not find a screenshot button on PCSX2 at the time (possibly had a lower version of the emulator), one of the Nintendo DS screenshots I also originally made a innapropiate joke because the name of the game does sound a bit rude, that was until I realized that sex jokes are NOT ALLOWED ON THIS SITE, EVER, lastly I also wanted to reference some trivia on some game pages too, but normal users didn't like this and so I stopped doing that. I am also autistic, meaning all of this is due to not fully understanding all of it well enough at the time.
After some admin warnings is when I decided to give up editing for a while and only mainly added more high quality title screenshots for Japanese versions of games (since I only focus on the regional and revisional differences part of the whole site itself, I don't do unused content, prototypes, etc. and so I don't really need to read the rules on those guidelines, only the main, image and sound ones really since they link to regional and revisional differences). Sometimes I did actually updated some scripts but it was minimun compared to my screenshots, plus I did improve my contributions too.
All I can say is I'm sorry for all the low quality and unnecessary edits and contributions and I also apologize for too many users getting tired of reverting my changes that are not needed. I'll try and hopefully do my best on making higher quality screenshots and improve my contributions even more, though I'm not as active on this wiki than other places on the internet nowadays to be honest. Thank you for reading and y'all take it easy too. :)
Unsure what to do with these images
Since these aren't used in any other page, not even the regional difference page for Pokémon Red, Green & Blue, I'll leave it up to other users and/or administrators to decide if they should stay on this site or not.
