So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?
Hmmm...
To do:
Cover the earlier builds, including any leftover assets.

What do you get when you cross Beavis and Butt-Head with a 32-bit system, 3D platforming, two of The Lost Vikings, JPEG textures, an uncompensated development team, and only six months before your publisher leaves you no choice but to pull the plug? You get Beavis and Butt-Head Get Big in Hollywood, which... is kind of an incomplete mess.

Originally conceived as a follow-up to Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, with the setting being the duo roaming the sets of Hollywood immediately after filming of said movie, this was one of many 90s-era games that briefly showed up in magazine previews only to vanish and never be heard of again... until several builds were released in January 2026.

This page covers the latest available build, dated November 10, 1998, which is purportedly the final build burnt to disc prior to the game's cancellation.

Prototype Info

General

  • The Godzilla and Tar Pits levels require 8MB RAM enabled to run.
  • The Western and Hollywood levels won't load without hacking.
  • The Backlot is the only level with an end point, where choosing Continue will lead to a black screen.
  • The camera can be freely manipulated with Controller 2 at any time.
  • If a Memory Card is inserted and either 1 or 2 players is chosen, you'll be trapped on an unimplemented Memory Card screen.
  • Two-player mode isn't implemented, though you can still start a game through the option and choose which player would control which character.
