Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation is a Nintendo DS remake of Dragon Quest VI, which was first released on the Super Famicom exclusively in Japan in 1995. This remake is the first localized release of the game.

After a lengthy wait following the previous remake, this title's release completed the remakes of the Zenithia trilogy.

• Mimic Stone: This debug item kills all enemies instantly. It is present in the data of most Dragon Quest DS ports, as well as the ninth game.

Anti-Piracy

This game utilizes the DS Protect anti-piracy library to ensure that it is not being run off a flashcart or emulator. If any of the DS Protect checks fail, the game resets to the opening cutscene after Murdaw banishes the party at the start, leaving the player in an infinite loop.
