Unknown Sprite

Hidden with the game's effects is a sprite sheet of various foods, a barrel with a question mark, a skull emblem, and more. Its purpose or whether it's used at all is uncertain.

Unused Round Icons

GGXP-RoundIcons.png

Like most fighting games, an icon shows up on the cockpit to indicate the number of rounds won. Along with the sprites used for the animation in-game, there's also slightly differently shaped sprites with crudely drawn letters. While the reason is unclear, they seem to be associated with the method the win was earned.

The letters on the icons are V (Normal), P (Perfect), D (Double K.O.), T (Time-Out), C (Chip), S (Special/Super), R (Rakusyo—taunting after a K.O.).

New York

Left in the game is a remake of Sol Badguy's stage from the first Guilty Gear title. The stage is fully functional, but there is no known way to access the stage through normal means.

Censorship

File:GGXP-KR-Blood.png

The Korean release of the game underwent mild censorship to remove red blood from the game. While this includes changing the general blood sprites from red to a yellow green color, this also affects characters like Testament and Zato, who use unique blood/blood-colored sprites.

Other Changes

Kliff Undersn's taunt was translated into Korean, but remains the same functionally. Interestingly, Baiken's Baku, the only other appearance of text in character moves, was not translated.
