The Nintendo logo displayed at the startup is blue in the Japan version, red in the US and the Europe versions, and black in the Korea version. This is true for both Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, except that it exists only Blue Rescue Team for Korea.

  • The logo in the Japan version has a different style compared to the other versions.
  • As in several other games, "PUSH START" in the Japan version is changed to "PRESS START" in the US and Europe versions.
  • The subtitle in the Europe version has a different and smaller font than the US one.
  • The logo is slightly redone in the Europe version to make the trademark sign more noticeable and make it easier to change it for the different languages available.
  • The sky in the US version is actually the same as from Blue Rescue Team:

Also note that the lower part of the sea has a unique graphic that is normally unseen.

The differences are the same as for Red Rescue Team, except for these facts:

  • The logo in the Korea version, which was released only as Blue Rescue Team, is the only one with a similar style to the Japan one.
  • All the title screens have the same background.

Main Menu

In Blue Rescue Team Japan version only, the main menu box is positioned slightly lower compared to the international releases. This is probably because the developers initially forgot to adjust its positioning when porting from the GBA, as in fact it matches the positioning of all Red Rescue Team versions.

The list of recruited Pokémon shows the relative species in brackets in the Japan and Korea versions only.

Friend Area Overworld Map

Friend Areas in the game are sorted in regions that can be traversed on this alternate overworld map; in the Japan version only there is the word エリア (area) after the name of each region; additionally, for the hero's team base, there is the word きち (base) after the team's name. A similar thing happens in the Korea version.
