Alternate Title Screen

In 2015, Warp Zone interviewed Noriko Aoki (aka TokyoDoll), who worked on the graphics of the Great Battle IV. This interview included two images of an alternate title screen, which were later displayed at the 2015 Warp Zone Art Show:

The first image shows an early sprite of Compatible Kaiser, which would have been displayed at the top of this version of the title screen. The pose in the prerelease version shows a cold lack of expression and an idle pose, whereas the final depicts it punching with a much less stiff pose. There is also much more detail on the final sprite, such as many more colours and the presence of legs, but the final does omit the hand cannons from the prerelease version

...But what does it mean?

The second image depicts a sketch of how this alternate title screen would have looked. Namely, instead of being situated in the background as it is in the final, the Compatible Kaiser is looming over the four heroes. The logo would have slotted perfectly over the Compatible Kaiser's chest, so it makes less sense for it to be that shape in the final. Also, since the four heroes are standing in the middle of the screen, it is likely that the menu would have been displayed at the bottom of the screen, though this would have left no space for the copyright messages. Finally, the order of the heroes were swapped around for the final. For the final, Gundam and Roa swapped places, and Ultraman and Kamen Rider swapped places as well.
