So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?

Scarface: The World Is Yours is an open-world GTA-style game that ignores the ending of the 1983 movie and focuses on Tony Montana rebuilding his empire.

Push it to the limit!

Hmmm...
To do:
  • This page is being completely reworked and properly updated after speaking to modders on the Scarface Remastered Project who have found MUCH MORE cut content since this page has been set up.
  • Tony, the Narrator, Venus, the Sandman, Gaspar Gomez, Mirabelle, a girl named "Neve", Alejandro Sosa and the FBI have TONS of unused audio. Create a sound subpage, upload the audio files and move the Mama Montana and Elvira audio to the subpage.
  • Add the Shao Ling model.
  • Add the text.
  • Create a development page. TONS of groundbreaking development info on the game from as early as 2003 was shared on the Mafia Games Discord courtesy of former designers from Radical Entertainment along with in-house assets.

Unused Cutscenes

These are many cutscenes that were intended for the game's story and free roaming around Miami but seem to be left strangely unused.

This is a cutscene of a thug coming out of a garage, getting out of a car and shooting at someone but ultimately gets killed.

This is another cutscene, this time of Tony asking for a drink. This was originally tied to a Island mission.

This cutscene is just a close up version of the previous one. This was also originally tied to the same Island mission.

This cutscene is called "Hot Coffee" and shows Tony drinking coffee and speaking to a woman.

This cutscene is called "Coco's Coke" and shows Tony talking to Coco at her bar. This was supposed to play after completing the deal with the drug dealers.

This cutscene is called "Sniper" and shows a sniper shooting at Tony.

Unused Models

There is an earlier model for Mirabelle hidden in the model files called "Shao Ling" and was tied to the Nacho's Tanker mission. According to some Radical assets, Shao Ling was her original name from very early in development before it was changed to Mirabelle.

Unused Sounds

Some characters from the film were planned to return in the game and play major roles in its story, only to be scrapped for various reasons.

Mama Montana

Tony's mother is referenced many times when he flirts with women, when he performs taunts and when he dies in action. She only appears once at the end of the Babylon Club Redux mission cutscene when she is killed by Diaz's henchmen and lies in a pool of blood before Tony kills the thug he interrogates for information. The audio of Mama talking about Gina to Tony was supposed to play before you start Babylon Club Redux based on its positioning in the audio files. According to some Radical assets, after the mission, Tony was supposed to visit Mama at her house in which a cutscene would play of her dying in Tony's arms and saying the second piece of audio before going to kill the Diaz Brothers.

Elvira Montana

Tony's wife is referenced many times when he performs taunts, during phone calls when he selects the vehicle option, and when he dies in action. She was replaced by Venus, who serves as Tony's love interest in the game, due to Radical being unable to get Michelle Pfeiffer's likeness.
