Symmetry or Target?

I want to get a second opinion regarding a translation for some of the unused Japanese graphics. I'm debating whether たいしょう should be 対称 "symmetry" instead of 対象 "target" like in the article now.

You can make an argument either way:

  • Center-Fill mode is about making layers of symmetrical shapes with the blocks.
  • The objective of "Clear It!" is to clear away either 5 layers (3-D Tetris mode) or 10 layers (Center Fill mode), which indeed is a target.

I'm inclined towards "symmetry" (use "Center-Fill" in the article) because the graphics styles for たいしょう match with those of the other two main game modes, 立体テトリス "3-D Tetris" and パズル "Puzzle". Plus, the graphics for "Clear It!" are in a different style that match some graphics at 0xADB34 that say ステージクリア "Stage Clear". ButThouMust (talk) 19:58, 12 November 2025 (UTC)
