What's that, Lassie? Tetrominos fell down a well? A three-dimensional well?! I'd better get 3-D Tetris!

The second Tetris game released on the Virtual Boy (the first having been V-Tetris), and the very last licensed title to be officially released for the system. A Japanese version, titled "Polygo Block", was scrapped.

Internal Name

Present near the end of the ROM at FFDE0. Notably, it's the game's planned Japanese name.

This needs some investigation. Discuss ideas and findings on the talk page. Specifically: There are more Japanese tiles at ACCE4 that aren't easily arranged and may need a tilemap.

As mentioned above, a Japanese version was in the works but cancelled due to the poor reception and sales of the Virtual Boy as a whole. Still, a number of Japanese-language menu graphics are in the US ROM, although notably some of them say "3-D Tetris" in Japanese rather than "Polygo Block".

Unused Splash Graphics

T&E Soft	Nintendo

Splash screen graphics for T&E Soft (6301C) and Nintendo (6527C) are present near the title screen. In the final game, the opening credits are simply laid out in text form, as in early Tetris titles (such as the Game Boy version).

Alternate Logo

An alternate version of the game's logo, the most notable difference being that the "3-D" is rendered with the logo. This was likely changed for readabilty.
