- All of the Super Robo Wars games have debugging material. Info here.
- Likewise, the Army Men games here have them too.
- A Pastebin user named Decension has a bunch of random things found. Check all of these out.
- Action Man: Operation Extreme has a debug menu too.
- Advanced Variable Geo 2 has some unused... fanservice sprites.
- Anna Kournikova's Smash Court Tennis has regional differences.
- Arc Arena: Monster Tournament has regional differences. The US release omits the Casino Game second disc.
- Battle Arena Toshinden 2 has regional differences.
- Battle Arena Toshinden 3 has regional differences (e.g. practice and survival modes were added in western version).
- Car and Driver Presents Grand Tour Racing '98 has regional differences. The European version, Total Drivin', has a completely different soundtrack. There's a wiki that goes into detail with the differences.
- Chocobo Racing has at least one world changed between regions.
- Creatures has a debug menu. The same goes for Creatures: Raised in Space. (The latter's debug menu can be found here.)
- Defeat Lightning was localized twice as Future Racer by Midas as a stand-alone title and Power Rider by Phoenix Games as part of the All Star Action compilation.
- Earthworm Jim 2 has a debug menu, similar to the one in the Saturn version.
- Eternal Eyes has regional differences.
- The Fifth Element has a demo version with some debugging stuff enabled. Is this in the final version, albeit disabled?
- Kartia: The Word of Fate has regional differences (e.g. some English text that was in JP version was rewritten for western version).
- The Keiba has a sound test menu.
- Kensei: Sacred Fist has regional differences.
- Koudelka has regional differences.
- Lone Soldier has beta content and regional differences.
- Namco Museum Vol. 4 has regional differences:
- Like Namco Museum Vol. 3, Uketsuke Komachi, the receptionist, is voiced in the Japanese version, and her message lacks the "no flash photography" rule.
- In the theater, the robot band PicPac only plays the lyrical versions of their 2 songs in the Japanese version, and only the instrumental versions in the English version. Of note, both lyrical and instrumentals versions are available in the theater's music player in all versions.
- The library has an illustrated summary of the NG magazine manga Mei Rou Yakata no Chana in the Japanese version.
- The game list in the library shows different games available in previous volumes, as Vol. 2 had Cutie Q and Bomb Bee in Japan (the latter shown as "Vol. ?" due to being secret, this graphic being unused/deleted in the English version) and Super Pac-Man in English. Also, the English list is missing 5 games from the Japanese version: Winning Run Suzuka GP (1989), Eunos Roadstar (Driving Simulator, 1990), Soukoban DX (1990), Coca-Cola Suzuka 8 Hours (1992), and Suzuka 8 Hours 2 (1993). The English version included Ridge Racer (Fullscale, 1993) and Ridge Racer (STD, 1994) to the list, Dirt Dash was moved from 1995 to 1996, and the list's scrolling has extra empty space in the end, likely due to the removed games.
- The staff roll had the space between each entry reduced in the English version, but its duration is still the same due to the music, staying longer at the Namco logo in end.
- Pachiokun: Pachinko Land Daibouken has a debug menu.
- PoPoLoCrois has a debug mode.
- Power Move Pro Wrestling, also known as New Japan Pro Wrestling: Toukon Retsuden, has regional differences.
- Poy Poy has a prototype version of the game.
- Racing Lagoon has unused parts, including the infamous WONTEC-V12 engine part. Hilltop, the English translator, made a video about this.
- Rascal Racers, ATV Racing, XS Airboat Racing, and Miracle Space Race all have leftover graphics from each other (mostly copyright screens and track preview images).
- RayTracers has regional differences: the US version does not have voice acting, unlike the Japanese and European versions.
- Rescue Shot has regional differences.
- The Ski perhaps has a debug menu.
- Super Shot Soccer has special attack by the Brazilian team that is present only in the Japanese version.
- Street Fighter EX 2 Plus supposedly has unused/unfinished modes, including Survival. The late Kao Megura has codes to access them in his guide on GameFAQs.
- Tecmo's Deception: Invitation to Darkness has regional differences
- TOCA Touring Car Championship has revisional differences. The European Platinum version adds DualShock controller support.
- Toshinden 4 has regional differences.
- Twisted Metal III has some previously-undiscovered cheats.
- Uprising-X has debugging stuff.
- U.S. Navy Fighters was only released in Japan, but it contains intriguing fragments of English text. The file SLPS_009.94 has phrases like "Bandit at six, break!" and "He's coming right at you" that could be leftovers from the PC version.
- Vanark has regional differences.
- V-Rally: 97 Championship Edition has revisional differences - later European versions and US version have DualShock support and replace the yellow/blue Renault Megane with Toyota Corolla, while the Japanese version has some extra cars.
- WCW vs. the World, also known as Virtual Pro Wrestling, has regional differences.
PlayStation 2
- 10,000 Bullets has regional differences and an invisible debug menu.
- Pretty much every NIS game ever:
- Soul Nomad & the World Eaters and its debug modes.
- Aqua Teen Hunger Force: Ninja Zombie Pro-Am has two plaintext settings files that are not read at runtime (AUTOEXEC.GM and CONFIG.GM).
- Arc the Lad: End of Darkness has a debug menu.
- Area 51 has differences in the Japanese version: Online play was removed, and violence is reduced.
- Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter has regional differences.
- Castlevania: Lament of Innocence has unused items.
- Cel Damage Overdrive has a working debug menu in the final build: [1] [2] It may also exist in other versions of the game.
- Champions: Return to Arms also has a debug menu, enabled through Action Replay.
- Colosseum: Road to Freedom has version differences, including a Japan only updated version. Remnants of an English language setting remain in Gladiator: Road to Freedom Remix.
- Crimson Tears has regional differences (e.g. some English text that was in JP version was rewritten for western version).
- Fatal Fury Battle Archives: Volume 1
- Fatal Fury Special has changes similar to those of Art of Fighting Anthology, in the removal of Japanese text from the screen before Ryo and the voice clips from the endings.
- Fight Night Round 2 has an unused character left over from the Nintendo GameCube. To access him you can use Codebreaker code 0061FC40 0000002E for Player 1 or 0061FC44 0000002E for Player 2.
- Ford Racing 3 has debug camera views and texts for a debug menu.
- Forever Kingdom has regional differences (e.g. some English text that was in JP version was rewritten for western version).
- Genji: Dawn of the Samurai has a prototype version and regional differences.
- God of War has regional differences (e.g. censorship).
- Grandia Xtreme and Grandia III both have debug menus, seen here and here respectively. This might also be true for the PS2 port of Grandia II.
- Heatseeker has a debug menu.
- Homerun has regional differences. This Phoenix Games release based on Magical Sports 2001 Pro Yakyuu cheaply scrubbed away the NPB license, so most of the team names remain recognizable.
- Jade Cocoon 2 has a debug menu.
- King of Fighters: Maximum Impact has a fun stash of unused voice clips, such as Yuki and...ANDY BOGARD!?
- Kikou Heidan J-Phoenix has a debug menu.
- Kikou Heidan J-Phoenix 2 has a debug menu and debug displays.
- Knockout Kings 2002 has a debug menu.
- Legaia 2: Duel Saga has a debug menu. Video and info here. There is also a USA debug code as well.
- Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa has a debug menu and several unused cheats; these also exist on PC, and likely in the PS3, X360, and Wii versions.
- Madden NFL 2005 has a Collector's Edition featuring a large amount of additional content.
- Mark of Kri has two debug menus.
- Mister Mosquito has regional differences.
- Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space has regional differences, online support was removed from the US release.
- Monkey Magic has debug menus.
- MotoGP 3 has Susumu Hori removed from the US version of the game.
- Neo Angelique has a debug mode.
- Police 911 has regional differences.
- Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has debugging text located in DATA\PRINCE.BF but currently cannot be decompressed. Check if it's in the PC version, which can be decompressed.
- Quantum of Solace has a debug menu accessed using Action Replay Max code 003C9EB0 00000001 in the NTSC-U version of the game (Source).
- The Red Star might have some stuff relating to Acclaim, as it was meant to be published by them before they went bankrupt. It was picked up by XS Games a few years later.
- Rockman: Power Battle Fighters reportedly contains localized versions of the emulated games.
- Sega Classics Collection removed Alien Syndrome in the European release.
- Shadow Hearts Covenant has a debug menu.
- Sky Surfer has regional differences.
- Spy Fiction has regional differences (e.g. western version of the game's script was rewritten and redubbed, despite the Japanese version already having English voice acting).
- State of Emergency 2 has a debug menu.
- Stretch Panic has regional differences and a demo version.
- Sub Rebellion has a small debug menu.
- Suikoden III has a debug menu.
- The Sword of Etheria has regional differences.
- Taito Legends 2 has regional differences. The US PS2 version features Bust-A-Move Again, rather than Puzzle Bobble 2 depicted on the box.
- Tales of Destiny has Blue Earth and Swordian voices for all attacks. and many more unused sound files. Also, Tales of Rebirth and Tales of Destiny 2.
- Tear Ring Saga: Berwick Saga has unused text and character portraits (see file rips linked here), a few unused items, some leftover item sprites from its predecessor, and animations for a scrapped Pegasus-riding class.
- Tenchu: Fatal Shadows has some debugging stuff in the JP version enabled through PAR code 204642E8 ???????? (See here for more details.)
- Tokyo Road Race (Battle Gear 2) has a debug menu. The European localization is also based on Battle Gear 2V, an export-only revision that uses Stunt Typhoon Plus cabinets and adds track maps to point-to-point tracks. On the other hand, the Japanese version features modem support to upload and view lap records.
- Under the Skin has regional differences.
- Virtua Fighter 10th Anniversary has several unused stages.
- We Love Katamari has roll-up data for various normally-unrollable objects.
- (andlabs TODO) Sega Ages 2500 Tetris Collection appears to have a System-16 version of Bloxeed that we otherwise don't know about (it was released on System-18 in Japan and System C internationally)
- It also has leftovers from Space Harrier II: Space Harrier Complete Collection?
- Fantasy Zone Complete Collection has a crapton of leftovers from previous entries (Monster World Complete Collection, Tetris Collection, Gunstar Heroes Treasure Box, Phantasy Star Complete Collection, etc.)

- Phantasy Star Complete Collection has two versions of the Nei text adventure: ps2tnei.bin and ps2tnei_fixed.bin. The latter version matches what's in Genesis ROM sets, and the executable makes no mention of ps2tnei.bin but it does mention the fixed one...and the two ROMs look to be very different with a 1:1 comparison (will need to do a diff-like comparison).
- Wild Arms Alter Code: F has a prototype version and regional differences (e.g. English version doesn't have voiceover gallery)
- X-Squad has regional differences (e.g. Completely different title screen in the Japanese version).
- Yuu Yuu Hakusho Forever has an invisible debug menu.
- Zoids Struggle has a debug menu.
PlayStation 3
- Quite a few PS3 games have debug menus that can be activated by running a PS3 CFW in "DEX mode" or using a debug CFW as can be seen in this post.
- BlazBlue: Chronophantasma has a Library Mode and a Gallery which were both completely dummied out of international releases.
- Cars 3: Driven to Win has some placeholder textures, possibly a test track(s) as seen by accidentally glitching out of bounds.
- Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness has unfinished sprites of Eclair and Priere.
- Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi apparently contains unused voiceovers for Goku, intended for the giant battle with Janemba.
- Formula One Championship Edition has menu for the cancelled PSP integration for rear view mirror still present in the initial European release.
- God of War III has regional differences (e.g. censorship).
- God of War: Ascension has both regional and revisional differences.
- Heavenly Sword has a debug menu.
- Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds has regional differences regarding the female golfers.
- Lair also has a debug menu. There are also some version differences between the initial release and the patches.
- Mugen Souls and Mugen Souls Z have a bathing mini-game that was removed from the PS3 NTSC/PAL versions. The Eastasiasoft Switch versions of both of them restore the minigame.
- PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale had a rather intriguing development history, and the developers claimed Abe and Dart were intended to be playable but were forcefully cut. There may be leftover data pertaining to these facts on-disc.
- Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One contains at least two unused pieces of music: one intended for when a ship capsizes, and another corresponding to Terrawatt Forest.
- Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City has unused Star Wars textures.
- Siren: Blood Curse sadly got all the gruesome scenes from the European and Japanese versions heavily toned down for the US version that was released only for download via PSN due to strict restrictions by SCEA.
- Soulcalibur V has icons for DLC that never got released.
- Stranglehold has a Collector's Edition with the film Hard Boiled included on the disc.
- Tales of Graces f (also the Wii version) has an obscenely-high amount of voice clips, including a few for unused Artes.
- Tales of Vesperia contains leftovers from the Xbox 360 localization.
- Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has an unused music cue for the Bandai Namco logo.
- Document unreleased NBA Elite 11 such as online feature can't be seen.
PlayStation 4
- Arab Drift Cars has unused traffic cars which is used from official screenshots.
- Tokyo Xanadu EX+ has a debug room +356 other maps.
- Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has a debug menu similar to Doom 2016 and is accessed via the same method.
PlayStation Portable
- Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days has DLC that was only available in Japan.
- Earth Defense Forces 2 Portable has some interesting stuff, such as unused monsters and some English stuff.
- Elminage III: Ankoku no Shito to Taiyou no Kyuuden has a debug mode.
- Echoshift has profane music file/internal names.
- God Eater 2 has a debug mode.
- Guilty Gear Judgment has regional differences. The Japanese version features a port of Guilty Gear XX Slash, this is replaced with #Reload internationally.
- LocoRoco 2 has a beta version with lots of different stuff.
- Namco Museum Battle Collection was split into 2 volumes in Japan, along with having a PAL revision that omits Ms. Pac-Man. The Vol. 2 revision in Japan contains a lot of differences to the other releases, most of which are documented here, though some investigation into JP Vol. 1 and the PAL version is still needed.
- Over the Hedge: Hammy Goes Nuts seems to have some files for test levels.
- Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins has a revised version only released in Japan.
- What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? 2 has differences between the digital and UMD versions. Also, the game's English title was altered before launch. The trailer under the old name could belong on a prerelease page.
Additionally, the following games make calls to sceKernelGetGPI and sceKernelSetGPO, which are likely debug toggle flags for dip switches and possibly something related to a DualShock 3 controller. These may have debug features if a PSP development kit is used:
