There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension is essentially a remake/followup to There Is No Game, greatly expanding the idea to traveling through different video game dimensions with Game and throwing in even more instances of breaking the fourth wall.

Chapter 1
SkiteAd01_04 - A fifth panel for the sKite memory bar advertisement.
HourOs_Day01, HourOs_Night01 - Early clock display for the "Clock" app from Chapter 1.
Chapter 2
Plume, Empty_Plume - An icon in a style similar to other "uninteractable" icons from Chapter 2. The developer's blog mentions this, explaining that:
"This feather was initially in the place of the magnifying glass. But it was at an early stage of the chapter and the riddles were not yet written. So it's a videogame vestige that didn't survive the creative process."
While Mr. Wilhelm's head is constantly blocked by a glitch fragment, his image files reveal that he does in fact have a proper face.
Chap03_Room05_ObjetsNuage01_FRONT - A crudely drawn background sprite of the dictionary. This is most likely a placeholder, before the final sprites were made for its place.
Chapter 4
Chap04_Pub_Rapappa_CharaUsed - An early version of RaPappa The Paper (a parody of Parappa The Rapper) with a very different style.

Chapter 5
Chap05_Kitty_Idea - An unused thought bubble for the kitty that asks for a fish. A similar thought bubble is used in the final game, but this version suggests that the user would have needed to enlarge the fish first before giving it to the cat.
| Chap05_Kitty_Idea (Unused) | Chap05_Kitty_Idea02 (Used) |
|---|---|
Chap05_Carte_Face08 - An "8" digit from a card that appear during GiGi's song. In the final game, only 7 cards are visible with digits from 1 to 7.
Miscellaneous
Glitch_Eyes_Suspicious - A "suspicious" expression for Mr. Glitch.
BackArrow - An unused back arrow. It's unclear what its intended purpose is.
Unused Videos
Chap06c_PrepareCoffee01.webm is an unused clip of the Creator picking up his coffee cup. There are some noticeable differences from the videos that are used, such as lack of dialogue, darker lighting, quieter sound, and a fade transition at the end.
Unused Audio
Chap01_SadMusic.wav, used during Game's fake lamenting, lasts about 36 seconds, but in-game it cuts off after around 13 seconds.
Unused Text
A strange unused subtitle for Game. In the localization file, it's placed right before the lines that are used when quitting the game, so it was likely meant for that same purpose. There is no corresponding voice clip for this subtitle.

Near the end of the chapter, when User looks for a key, Hero and Princess are talking about various topics. One of the topics is about listening to "violent" music, where Princess misinterprets Hero's words, thinking he's talking about "violins". This pun has been changed in some of the languages.

DJ Game's Rap

During the section with Game rapping against his will, there's a part where he advises User to guide a cat with a big fish, during which he references Hoggle - a character from the 1986 British-American musical fantasy film Labyrinth. This reference was changed in some languages.
| Language | Text | Translation | Meaning |

| Spanish (español) | Usuario, por este laberinto deberías pasearlo Como hizo Teseo con el Minotauro antes de matarlo |

Later, there's a part where Game loses hope for a short while, during which he references William Shakespeare. In some languages, this person has been replaced with a poet from a different country.

Language selection error
On the settings screen, when selecting a language, it displays the name of that language in it's own language. ("English" for English, "Français" for French, "Deutsch" for German, etc.) However, if you set the language to Korean, the name of the language is mistakenly written as "영어" ("English") instead of "한국어" ("Korean").

Chapter 6
Missing Creator's Voicelines
| To do: Replace the video with a higher quality recording. |
In Chapter 6, there is a section where Game tries to talk with the Creator through the phone (to no success). On his second attempt, Game gets stressed and imitates a ghost, to which the Creator responds with not being interested in "that disenchantment stuff again".
However, on the mobile version, this was slightly changed - Game remains silent while the Creator starts with saying "Hello? Hello!?". Interestingly, the localization file actually has those captions (check the "Unused Texts" section), however they are never displayed.
Miscellaneous
English Flag
On the language selection screen, the English language is represented by the Union Flag on the PC and mobile versions and the US Flag on the Nintendo Switch version.

Screen Borders
The game will always display its content in 16:9 aspect ratio, so if played on a display with a different aspect ratio, it will not fill the entire screen. In this case, the PC version simply places black bars on each side of the screen. However, the mobile version has a custom border that gets displayed on both sides of the device. Its filename is RatioBand.png.

Title Screen
One of the first game's gag happens on the title screen, where the game is trying to lead the player towards the Exit button with big shiny arrows. This gag was unfortunately removed on the Nintendo Switch, because games on this system cannot close themselves on command.

Settings
In the in-game options, the third settings is different on various platforms.
