Twisted Metal 2 takes what was great about the original and turns it up to 11 taking you on an explosive trip around the world. And there's animated endings this time. Also, Axel was voiced by Bortus from The Orville if anyone wasn't aware of that.

Regional Differences

Hmmm...
To do:
Look for any other changes. This is just to start.

The Japanese version received some changes in addition to dubbing the voiceovers in the animated FMVs. Curiously, the English text in the Car Info screens was not translated into Japanese.

Title Screen

The title screen was changed to reflect the game's title in Japan. Despite having a different name in Europe, the title screen was not changed.

Revisional Differences

The emulated 2025 re-release on PS4 and PS5 made a few graphic changes due to legal reasons.

The Hollywood sign in Los Angeles - Quake Zone Rumble was changed to a Los Angeles sign, due to Hollywood and its sign being trademarked by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.
