WWF Superstars (Arcade)

WWF Superstars: From being WWF/E's flagship show, to a jobber show, to a magazine show, and to another jobber show. And between those, an arcade game. And still the term the promotion collectively call their wrestlers (not accounting for the name change).
Unused Graphics
Unused HUD name graphics for final opponents Andre the Giant and Ted "Million Dollar Man" DiBiase, known collectively as the "Megabucks". Neither of these two are playable, and names/gauges are never displayed for CPU players.
The yellow names have pointer/tilemap issues, as they are used if the other wrestler is the active one. DiBiase's name will be pushed off to the left and have its D missing, and Andre's will have a "hole" to the right of it.
Revisional Differences
There are three known US revisions of the game in MAME, each labeled Revision 4 (wwfsstaru4), Revision 6 (wwfsstaru6), and Revision 7 (wwfsstaru7). Revision 7 contains a very minor change to the handling of the second coin slot.
Basic Fun Arcade
In 2025, Basic Fun released a multigame cabinet series, featuring Superstars and Wrestlefest, alongside other Technos games. The build of Superstars used is derived from Version 7 as mentioned above, but for licensing reasons with WWE, many changes have been made.

Summary
- The Technos Copyright notice and any reference to Titan Sports has been removed, as has the FBI logo
- Wrestlers represented by CMG Brands as opposed to WWE Legends deals are no longer featured (Randy Savage is no longer playable, and Andre The Giant no longer appears as part of MegaBucks)
- All references to WWF and World Wrestling Federation are now WWE and World Wrestling Entertainment respectively, including redrawing logos and graphics.
- The likenesses of Virgil and Miss Elizabeth still feature in their respective cutscenes, as well as "Mean" Gene Okerlund.
- Due to the absence of Andre, the MegaBucks boss fights now feature Ted DiBiase and one random character from the playable roster with enhanced stamina.
