Reference Images
Pretty much all of the locations in Black Stain have a reference image, which were most likely used to correctly set up the scenes in-game. They are all mostly the same, but some have slight changes from the final versions. All of the reference images are located in res/adventureGame/[sceneName] and almost all of them are named "reference.image".

A template of Sour Note. Some changes include the stools being different height from the final version and a completely different character on the right, that could possibly be a first version of Misty.

An unused version of a train car during the assassination on the Dmitri Cognac. In the final version, the screen simply cuts to black on the fired shot.

Effie has 4 unused animation frames of her sitting and smoking.

Unused animation of Effie reaching for light for her sparkler. While she's seen doing that with other animations, it was never with both sparkler reached out while standing and close to her mouth at the same time.
(Also, have you noticed a stray pixel on 8th frame?)

This is a cover of Best Of Times from the original World of Goo, designed for the Black Stain section.

Unused Sounds

res/adventureGame/dialogs/Chapter02/C02_Cliff_Misc.ogg - This file contains an unused Cliff Spanner voiceline, saying "I can't leave yet. I need to go to the Sour Note."

res/adventureGame/dialogs/Chapter02/C02_DressingRoom_MistyMannequin.ogg - Similar to above, but with Cliff saying to Mannequin "You're right, I'm talking too much."

Unused Texts

Amongst the dialogue between Cliff Spanner and the Mannequin, there is an unused phrase said by the detective.
