An alternate save icon depicting Kazuya is present on the disc. Interestingly in Paul Phoenix's ending, there's a poster of Kazuya's face that resembles the unused sprites for the save memory icon.

A couple of unused Namco logos, most likely meant for the title screen.

TEKKEN PlayStation Beta

An early PlayStation build of TEKKEN, presumably intended for trade shows.

Highlights

Title Screen/Mode Select: The beta/prototype has two modes—"ARCADE MODE" and "EXIT"—while the retail version has three.

Arcade Mode: Only two CPU fights are available in the beta/prototype, whereas the retail version features nine.

No Playable Paul Phoenix: A placeholder/test character, "WILD CARD," represented by a "?" on the PLAYER SELECT screen, replaces Paul Phoenix in the beta/prototype.

Nina Williams' Primary Outfit: Her default outfit is altered in the PlayStation beta/prototype.

Randomly Arranged Tracks: Arranged soundtracks originally made for specific stages are randomly played across all stages in the beta/prototype.
