Hmmm...
To do:
  • Document the demo, which has a couple of differences from the final game.
  • Provide images of regional differences.

After Apollo Justice, Miles Edgeworth gets to star in his own game, in which the final case drags on forever.

Unused Music

This music, internally labeled "SEQ_BGM18", is not used in the game, nor is it in the official soundtrack. While this track was removed from the mobile port of this game, and subsequently from Ace Attorney Investigations Collection, the latter does have an unused "list.txt" file which provides codenames for each song. The one for this song is "剛勇航空のテーマ" (GoYou Airlines' Theme), which suggests it is related to said airlines. Collection also has an unused string for its Music Collection, being "Rhoda Teneiro - As a Professional Flight Attendant", which is likely meant to be the title of this song. It is also placed right before the string for "Accused Folk", which is a song that Ms. Teneiro is associated with. It may have been removed due to a lack of appropriate opportunities in the story for it to play.

The track "Mask☆DeMasque - Please Listen to Meeeee!" from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations also exists unused. It was most likely intended to be used in the context of Mask☆DeMasque II who appears in the game. The Music Collection in Collection does present this song among the others returning from the original trilogy, without acknowledging its unused status.

Regional Differences

In the Japanese version, the airline iFly Airlines is named "GoYou". Amusingly, the English version mentions GoYou as being one of the rejected names for the airline.

In the Japanese version, Ambassador Palaeno collects Japanese souvenirs and displays them in the secretariat's office. In the English version, they're American souvenirs. This extends to the uniquely-shaped note paper, which is shaped like Mt. Fuji in the Japanese version, and a butte from Monument Valley in the English version.

Colias Palaeno has a very... odd sprite which goes unused in the final.

Unused Logic

The game includes some unused logic pieces. These pieces were not translated in the US and European versions.

Where was the criminal hiding?
There is no place to hide in the corridor. If there was a criminal, I would have noticed it.

L-shaped corridor
With a mirror trick it looked straight, but the corridor was L-shaped.

Chimney as fire source
It seems like only the chimney was able to be the source of fire in this office.

Someone tried to burn a counterfeit note
The purpose of the fire was to destroy counterfeit notes, and the source of the fire was a green flame.
