So very stubbly.
This page is rather stubbly and could use some expansion.
Are you a bad enough dude to rescue this article?
Hmmm...
To do:
  • Is any of the unused content from the original games present here?
  • The build of Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels seems to be specially built for the competition cartridge. See if there're any differences and unused content.

Nintendo PowerFest '94 is a rare game used in the competition of the same name, in which players had six minutes to finish World 1-1 of Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels from Super Mario All-Stars and finish a race on Mario Circuit 1 in Super Mario Kart, with any remaining time spent in Home Run Derby mode of Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball. After time expired, the player's scores in each game were tallied.

This was a followup to Nintendo Campus Challenge 1992 and a pseudo-sequel to Nintendo World Championships 1990. This would be the final competition Nintendo held until 2015.

There are two revisions of the cart, the only difference being that the second multiplier for Ken Griffey Jr. (the one for the number of home runs you hit) was upped from 10,000 to 1,000,000, which also necessitated the grand total display being expanded from seven to eight digits.

The reason for this change is most likely due to players grinding for points in The Lost Levels, which makes it possible to score over 1,000,000 points without playing the other two games.
