Regional Differences

Japan	International

The Japanese version displays the Namcot logo both on a separate screen before the title screen appears, and on the title screen itself. These were removed from the international releases. Additionally, the copyright text was changed to mention Nintendo (and also shifted up a bit to fill in the empty space where the Namcot logo was), and trademark symbols were added to the logo and the copyright text.

Additionally, the USA version replaces the trademark symbols on the title screen with registered symbols, as well as changing the copyright text again to replace the second mention of Namco Ltd. with Namco Hometek. Notably, this version of the copyright text is very similar to that seen in the Namco version of the NES port.
