Unused Multiplayer Mode
| To do: Add info on how to access, copy over map layouts from the RayWiki |
A link-up multiplayer mode was planned and partially-developed, in which Rayman and Dark Rayman from the Candy Chateau must compete against each other in Capture The Flag-style challenges. It was intended to have one multiplayer map for each world of the single player game, but only a couple of levels are in a playable state.
Map Selection Screen
Inside of the game's data is a leftover stage selection screen meant for the multiplayer.
Note that the Text has been modded in, as it's all null values in the data.
Character Select
In the same vein, there is also a character select that lets you select between Dark Rayman and normal Rayman.

Password Screen
An unused password screen that doesn't work can be found within the ROM.
This screen is programmed completely differently to the one used in the PS1 version, meaning it isn't a leftover from there.
Regional Differences
| USA | Europe |

The American version went simply straight to show the game title. The European version, meanwhile, has taken some creative liberties: The logo was made smaller, trademark symbol was redrawn and moved below, an Anitoon was added, and the golden "ADVANCE" from the American version was replaced with a new and redrawn lapis lazuli one.
Oddities
The American version let you select all the languages present in the European version. This is odd, since North American games usually only have English available, or they have a language selection with less languages (in most cases, American English, French and Spanish).
